Homosexuality

A) Old Testament.......instant death for homosexuality-no excuses

B) New Testament.....grace---given a chance to repent or 2nd chance at repentance, deliverance and restoration back to God.

Homosexuality is: having a sexual desire for those of the same sex.

All homosexuality---sodomy, lesbianism, and other sex perversions are condemned in Scripture. Under the Old Testament the penalty was death (Leviticus 18:22; 18:26-29 and 20:13).

In the New Testament because of the blood of Jesus there is an opportunity to repent of this type of sin. Jesus said in St John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but to steal, kill and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they have it more abundantly. There is also an opportunity written in the Old Testament for those that know the way and somehow have lost there way in this Christian life--II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

II Corinthians 12:21 (3) kinds of moral sins: 1) Homosexuality 2) Fornication 3) Lasciviousness

Homosexuality: Romans 6:19, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 4:19 and 5:3, Colossians 3:5, II Peter 2:10

Lesbianism is referred to in Romans 1:26---the unnatural sexual relations between women.

Read I Corinthians 6:9-10 then read I Corinthians 6:11 to receive "VICTORY" over sin.

Keep in mind, we are living in the last days; these are scriptures to lead you into an in-depth study of the sexual sins. Satan is working overtime to seduce, entice, and ensnare the children of God (young and old) through sex sins. Be aware and keep the whole armor of God on (Ephesians 6:10-18. so that you will be able to stand the test of Holiness in this area of your life.
